The project concerns the redevelopment of the interurban Milan–Desio tramway extending it to Seregno. In addition to the conversion of the obsolete tramway system, which is currently out of service, the works also include a new depot, eight electrical substations, associated plant systems, and a system for the collection, disposal and treatment of stormwater.
